ReSound has announced the formation of a global audiology team to leverage its audiology expertise in providing the necessary audiologic perspective during the process of hearing instrument design — from concept to release into the market. " As technology continues to evolve, the needs of the hearing-impaired and the needs of those dispensing hearing instruments must continue to drive product development ", says Laurel Christensen, PhD, ReSound's chief audiology officer, who will lead the team of 25 audiologists located in the United States, Europe, and Asia.
