The British Tinnitus Association (BTA) has rebranded and launched a new website - www.tinnitus.org.uk -, in order to raise awareness of the condition and support those who suffer from the complaint. The website's home page links users through to a variety of sections including explanations about tinnitus, symptoms to look for and recommended therapies. A section named, 'Information for professionals' is dedicated to providing useful updates and guidelines. Recent articles, results and therapies are included in an area devoted to research and information about training courses is also available. The BTA also run a free phone helpline - 0800 018 0527 – that is open Monday – Friday, 9am - 5pm, for the public to use for help and advice.
